Professor, Founder and Director of Institute of Immunology, former Dean of School of Life Sciences, former President of Medical Center of University of Science & Technology of China (USTC); Director of Key Lab of Innate Immunity & Chronic Diseases (Chinese Academy of Science); Director of Institute of Health & Medicine, Hefei Comprehensive National Science Center.
NK cell research leader (focuses on liver-resident NK Cell/ILC1, NK cell exhaustion/checkpoints and Allo-NK cells in immunotherapy). Total number of 400+ publications in English in peer reviewed journals, including Science, Cell, Nat Immunol, Immunity, Cell Metabol, Sci Transl Med, etc. The number of publications with keyword “NK cell” (articles & reviews) ranks #1 in the world in last 10 years.
